Did the Charity Homeless People Parramatta Ride thingy 2day

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by Ktulu, Aug 6, 2006.

  1. It was great fun!

Nothing teaches you lane discipline like having a huge guy on a harley ride next to you in the same lane :p
Slightly un-nerving at first, but it was ok. Everyone was careful [mucho hedchex!].

A few scary-looking champions fanging off ahead to block off on-ramps and turning traffic at intersections to keep everyone safe - it was brilliant.

... and to Dean who rides a Yamaha Warrior - despite considering myself a sportsbiker: I want your bike.

There'll be a cruiser in my garage one day, thanks to you.

I will say one thing to all our female members though... after meeting a few of the women who attended the ride either as riders or passengers, I recommed full face helmets with visors and moisturiser if you're going to be on a bike long-termish ;)
    Your skin will thank you.
