Did I get it right?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by boingk, May 7, 2008.

  1. Well, here we go. Long story short I thought I'd better get the basics first before getting a bike, so I landed myself a jacket and helmet with the season change-over specials.

After a whole day of stuffing around and trying on anything I could get my hands on and listening to every bit of advice I could find, I decided on an M2R MR1500 helmet ['Vixen' scheme], and a Rivet Airtex jacket with removable liner ['Urban' pattern]. The helmet was $140 from an RRP of ~$300, the jacket down to $260 from $380! Seems everywhere I went the fellas were trying to offload everything at great prices!

So, the M2R MR1500 and the Rivet Airtex Urban - good choices for a beginner?
  2. You only got it wrong if it doesn't fit properly.
  3. Excellent - then I've got it right. Now all I need is to find a bike that fits me...

    Cheers - boingk
