Dent in my frame

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by Arnas, Jun 14, 2015.

  1. Mechanics! Today while cleaning my bike I found a dent on my motorcycles frame. I haven't dropped my bike and haven't really noticed the dent before. Checked the other side and doesn't seem to have any dents on it.

  2. Bugger .. looks like a hammer blow or something of that nature.
  3. bad mechanic and a stuck bolt?
  4. Spoke with few other cb400 owners they have the same dent. Our conclusion was it was there from a factory in order to mount up pipes and put in the screw. I'm still gonna run to my local mechanic tomorrow after work to double check, but it really scared me haha

  8. I will check mine in 20mins and let you know ..

  9. Just checked.. this is actually a tapering of the frame so it's normal. If you run your hands along it you can feel how the frame thickness changes.
