  4. Will be meeting up with Port Melbourne crew, and catch you guys on the cruise. This will be a great day! Looks like you do bring along a toy for the kids, look forward to it!

    From the website:
The MRAV Melbourne Toy Run has always been a popular ride with Victorian motorcyclists. Riders dress up their bikes, trikes and scooters with Christmas decorations and ride to a destination to give toys and food for the kids for Christmas. The Salvation Army trucks will be waiting to receive these generous gifts from the bikers.

    Hi Towny,

It's a charity event So bring Toys or Canned food, you can even make a donation. the donation drop off area's are at calder you will see once you arrive. Traditionally this started as soft toys were handed out. But due to the occasionally bad weather day. Wasnt so good handing over ruined Toys. So Jump on the Website if you want more info www.toyrun.org.au and have a look. Its a pretty straight forward ride. Some might even say a tad boring. But its for a good cause, and theres plenty to do at the finish for the whole family.
  6. Thanks for the reply, i had looked at the website however missed the FAQ's section.. All has been answered. FIngers Crossed i will see you all on the 9th. It will be my first ride with a netrider group, so sounds like a nice easy start..

    Cheers James

  13. OK well I picked up a present today.

For those who are taking a toy. Kmart has a great selection of kids toys and you can get some pretty good stuff for about $20.

Now just have to work out how to strap it to the bike.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
