The 37th Traditional Melbourne Toy-Run & Family Traders day 2014
Continuing the legacy of the Melbourne Toyrun from its humble inception in 1978 the Victorian Motorcycle Council is proud to announce that the 2014 Toyrun is now on the third Sunday of December once again at Calder Park Raceway. This date secures a spectacular location where motorcyclists on all formats of bikes from all of Victoria can share a fun filled day with their families and friends in support of the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
Motorcycle Riders dress up their bikes, trikes and scooters with Christmas decorations and ride from all over Victoria to bring gifts, toys and food for the children and families of Victoria in need. The Salvation Army trucks will again be waiting to receive these gifts from the bikers and public as they enter and park bikes inside Calder Park Raceway.
Starting points include Cranbourne, Eltham, Epping, Ferntree Gully, Lilydale, Yarra Valley, Melton, Port Melbourne, Wallan and Werribee. Check www.toyrun.org.au for details.

  2. For reference, it appears that the 'Cranbourne' starting point is actually the Dandenong Basketball Stadium which is some 20km from Cranbourne.
Maybe it's the usual/expected thing, but then why not call it Dandenong?
  3. And can the Capes Cafe promise to open this year, at Port Melbourne? :troll:
  4. Which meet-up to go to? Decisions decisions!
  5. So they have picked a date. Thanks for the update.
  6. Looks like Capes cafe won't be open so Dan's looking to get a coffee Van there. Yes there has been a bit of confusion for the Cranbourne feeder as the usual organisers have chosen to affiliate their run to the Codognotto Toyrun this year. They still need volunteers to help with Marshaling and leaders for some feeder runs. Contact the www.victorianmotorcyclecouncil.org.au
