Darkside M50

  1. I have been reading about this today.

    Anyone done this, or know of someone that has? sounds insane...

  2. just been talking to mates about this and some said what about Insurance and Warranty. Doing something like this would void them both i am sure...
  3. I like the idea but have to agree re insurance...
  4. i wonder if it makes the bike un road worthy too? considering it is not a bike tyre...
  5. I have heard of people getting 35-40000 klm from a tyre that way!.

    UNless all your driving was on a freeway - I cant see how you would get comfy with the square edge of the tyre when cornering - without disaster looming.

  6. yeah sounds crazy.
    What i have read and watched on youtube, people are saying that you get more contact patch in corners, better water dispersion and grip.
    Also longer km's with out a change.

    Problem i see with it, is the rolling damage on the side of the wheel walls when in a corner, due to the force being pushed down when in a corner.
