Dainese Crono Race Suit - Mysterious Zipper

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by chickenstrips, Mar 17, 2016.

  1. Hi NR,

I just bought a new Dainese Crono one piece (my first race suit yay!!) and have noticed something perculiar on the inside... On the inside of the back part, there is a zipper that gives access into the aero hump. BUT, the mesh lining of the suit is non-removable and there's no way to get underneath it, so the best you can do is open and close the zip and wonder what on earth it's for.

I know on some of the higher spec Dainese suits you can get hydration packs that go in the humps, but I don't think they're compatible with mine and as I already mentioned, you can't get in there anyway.

Does anyone know what this zipper is for? Surely I can't be the only one who's noticed it and wondered what it does.
