Cylinder Block Help for a 125cc GP Bike

Discussion in 'Racing, Motorsports, and Track Days' at netrider.net.au started by RedNinja, Apr 5, 2007.

  1. Hi Guys,

My mate has blown his cylinder block on his 1994 125cc GP race bike (over headed). Is there any where local to get this fixed (In Melb) or does anyone know where we can buy one?

Head & crank is still good, but barrel is stuffed.

If anyone can help, please contact Adam at admonsta@optusnet.com.au

Many thanks all, he just want to make his next race meet in 4 weeks
  2. Possibility a little more info could be handy. Brand, budget etc otherwise you'll finish up with a heap of donated Victa engines. :?
  3. If its nickel plated, u can get it rebored and plated at some places. Electroseal i think does it, quality is not so good from what i have heard.
To get top quality, u have to send the cylinder overseas.
  4. Email sent.
  5. Thanks for all the replies guys, I am sure my friend is stoked
