Cushioned gear rack?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by Ktulu, Apr 23, 2007.

  1. Hey guys,

Thinking about accessories for the bike when I upgrade in a month.
    --[most likely a 2001 ZX6R or something]--

I'd like to get a rack & bag for it, just to carry stuff without mucking around with a backpack - maybe a first-aid kit, spare helmet when needed, etc.

I see Ventura looks to be the standard.
Just wondering if you can get a combination rack, with a back cushion for a pillion - so they don't have to hold onto rider/hand-holds as tight, and so on. Obviously the rack needs to be strong enough to perform this task too - as it's not just supporting the weight of a bag, but also whatever force is exerted by a pillions weight under acceleration of the bike.

    Any ideas?
  2. Oh, I also find this little cracka of an item intro on ebay while searching for a suitable rack
