Cruise for newbies (VIC South Eastern Area)

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' started by Big Red, Jul 26, 2005.

  1. Was buying some boots on the weekend and the sales guy was telling me about these instructed rides around the Lilydale/Yarra Ranges area. Apparently it is this guy and an instructor from H.A.R.T and they take a group of 30 people max around the roads to give you some training for riding in traffic. It is open to learners and those who just want some general tips on riding in traffic. It costs $30 and goes for ??? $hit - can't remember - probably an hour or two I suppose!!!
Has anyone done this ride or have any thoughts? Sounds like good value for new riders or those (like myself) getting back into the saddle after a break.

  2. Must confess, dont really know anything about this. But, it does seem reasonable as you will be guided by the experts. No doubt some tuition may be included.

Would be good to hear a review when and if you do the ride.
