Cows on the road

Discussion in 'Roads, Touring, Journeys, and Travel' started by Highett, Feb 16, 2014.

  1. With the dry weather the cattle are out on the long paddock in the regional areas here in NSW.

Two sections of road between Dorrigo and Armidale and a section of road just out of Walcha heading to Gloucester.

Two were signed one wasn't, None were attended

The video was taken moving through the first lot between Dorrigo and Armidale....

Coming the other way from Gloucester through Walcha and back up to Brisbane, plenty of cattle out on the roads. Figure with the lack of rain in the areas that the farmers are getting their stock out to graze wherevere there's feed available. All of the areas that I passed the cattle were attended. All in all it was actually kinda cool.

Saw plenty of riders heading south. The road from Nowendoc down to Gloucester has got to put your brakes to the test, so damn steep and very long.
  3. Quite a few tons of fresh T bones in that lot.
