Courses for a returning rider

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' started by Mathew Archibald, Feb 10, 2013.

  1. Hi All

I'm looking at getting back into riding after about 10 years away and I want to do a riding course to refresh my skills and am looking for some recommendations. I was planning on doing the HART refresher course but they haven't scheduled one in the last two months.

All the places I've looked seem to just focus on learner courses and I'm more looking for something that will quickly get me back up to speed before I buy my new bike.

Are there any courses anyone can suggest.

  2. cheers for that.

the 60 degrees one looks good but it looks like you need your own bike so I might do that one after I pick up my bike.

Was hoping to do something before then that provides a bike so I might keep looking. Maybe do a learners course just to get started again
  3. the HART intermediate or advanced 1 course should be OK
  4. Stay Upright also have an Intermediate Course that is claimed to be

They had one today but their next isn't until April. Not sure on Bike hire.
