couple of q's about my suzy

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' at netrider.net.au started by smiley235, Jul 4, 2007.

  1. As some may have read in a previous post, my fuel light is faulty and I still havent fixed it, so just wandering, I know my across has a reserve tank as there is a reserve light, however, is there a tap somewhere I can turn it to reserve if I run out of fuel as i cant seem to find anything.

Also, i'm not happy with the service honda did on the bike, still has a slight oil leak and runs roughly after about 20 minutes of riding. Can any1 recommend a good bike mechanic in melbourne. I live in the eastern suburbs around bulleen/templestowe area.

    Cheers,

    Cam.

  4. Yeah the fuel tap is on the right hand side of the bike just below the seat if I remember correctly. Its pretty small and not very distinctive which is probably why you hadn't found it.

  5. really? I thought I looked everywhere, i'll have another look when its light again. Can it be turned by hand or does it need a screwy?

  6. After re-reading my post I should have added its on the side of the bike but under the seat. If you squat down next to the right side of the bike you should be able to see a conventional sort of tap you can turn by hand.

    Hope this helps.
