Cost of Ownership

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by 2wheelsagain, Dec 20, 2005.

  1. Just wondering if someone can settle an argument.
Is a large cruiser cheaper to own and operate than a large tourer?
No need to factor in purchase and depreciation costs just actual running, reg and insurance costs.
Lets say each bike travels 10,000k per year.

    Thanks.

  4. Now for the real answer: You'll pretty much need to specify the two exact models. Then you'll need to look at their service guides, then you'll need to get a quote on insurance for each, then decide how much you're going to fang either. While you're at it get the price of tires too.
