  1. I have just travelled across the top of OZ today!

It was cold, but dry and sunny. Almost no traffic, no caravans and no trucks .

This country is the most beautiful part of Australia.
Whoever designed the roads was deftinately a closet motorcyclist!

The roads are fantastic.Sweeper after sweeper, excellent surfaces and just enough fuel stops.
Evey 15 minutes the terain completely changes through many sections.
The run has plenty of old pubs offering cheap accomadation and excellent meals.
I know this because this far from the first time that I have travelled these roads.Every time I do this run the old "Wow" factor kicks right in again.........And you don't need to be doing illegal speeds to enjoy all the thrills!

If you have never been, just get up there!

  2. Yep, magic place. Just keep it quiet, word of mouth (nudge nudge). Don't want them city hoons in their cages finding out about it now do we.
