Clutch/choke cable route - cbr250rr

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by disassembled, Feb 16, 2007.

  1. Hoping someone could give me a photo of the clutch/choke cable route from the bars, down past the forks. Just looking at my bike, and it seems that the cables are being pulled too tight on full left lock, and the insulation has been damaged too. It doesn't look quite right to me. No bikes around for me to look at. There's also a cable clip type thing attached to the forks which isn't being used, so i guess it's there for exactly that purpose.

  2. the choke and clutch cables should be clipped together under the front fairing bracket. The cables then run over the radiator under the tank. dont have a phot though cause im at work but i'll try and get one.
  3. Thanks E, I appreciate it.
  4. If you like, you can drop by and take a look at mine?
I'm in the SE Suburbs of Melb.
  5. Thanks for the offer mate, might take you up on that offer if i'm heading down that way soon.
  6. No problem, just send me a PM when you're heading down this way :)
