Chocolate beer... ?!? What the??!!

  3. Mm, I've had chocolate stout...

    And a double chocolate stout milkshake. It was like eating chocolate icecream that had had scotch poured over it. :)
  4. I can see this potentially working, but only under the right conditions.
    In my mind, this is what you'd need for a chocolate beer to work:
    - a dark ale: to give it the right colour and dark, malty flavour
    - it would have to be hand-pumped. Most pubs use CO2 to pump beer from keg to tap, but I think that the resulting fizziness would ruin this beer.
