chirping noise under steering area on high rpm

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by abvc, Apr 1, 2007.

  1. i've experienced this lately when i'm revving above 9k rpm (lot of vibration) anyone know what may cause it?

dropped the bike once, bent the clutch and a small ditch on the left handle bar, also the steering give a different squeak noise when pulled to the extreme right.

  2. Hmm, I've noticed a noise too on my bike in higher rpms, sounds similar. I've also dropped my bike, btw. Sometimes I find I notice it more and sometimes it's not really there, or atleast that is how it seems.

Edit: I'm wondering if it is from my keys, or the garage remote with my keys.
  3. X3 I get that too
  4. i was thinking it may be the key too. but nothing is around it except the small round steel where you dangle the key to.

btw now i think it may be the crappy aftermarket clutch...
  5. hm.. what do you think may cause the noise in your bike?
  6. update: it's the aftermarket clutch that I used. ordered genuine part, hopefully all is sorted.
