changing idle controler

  1. my idle controler on the side of my 600rr 06 has siezed up and if warranty isn't going to cover it then i am going to do this my seld any one done it and can give me some tips.



    is it hard or easy.
    and if honda doesn't do it then any one wanna help for a carton or 2

    how do you remove the cable?

    i can see it but do you need a special tool or does it just screw in.

  4. I'm not sure what cable you are talking about. Throttle cable?

    I assume this is a FI bike, so unless the throttle cable is caught somewhere, it really needs to be addressed by someone who knows what they are doing.

    Try and get it fixed under warranty

  5. it is the idle cable that goes from the throtle body to the left hand side of the bike.

    i pulled the tank of and the cable is seized but i can adjust the idle by hand. i will still get it fixed if it is under waranty if not i will just replace it my slef.
