changing chain - kinda urgent

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by spongesam, Feb 4, 2007.

  1. hey guys...
got chain to the right size, and sprocket change was pretty damn simple.

trying to link up the chain now and having a bit of a problem.

how should i be squeezing the joining links together so i can get the clip onto the chain?
  2. If it were me, I would use the DID chain breaking/riveting tool that resides in my toolbox :) But seeing you don't seem to have one, a pair of vicegrips will suffice. And I won't even grizzle at you for using a clip link instead of a rivet link
  3. i Sent you a PM
help is only a phone call away

  4. cheers for your responses :) :)

got some advice from around too.
will see how it goes tomorrow!
