chain lube and touring

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by twistngo, Dec 18, 2007.

  1. Hi. I'm about to head off touring over XMAS and my ER6 doesn't have a centre stand. Wondering what the options for lubing the chain while I'm travelling are. Don't really fancy tying a race stand to the rack and won't have time to get a scottoiler fitted.

  2. Or just spray, move bike forward/back, spray, repeat. Or if you're going with someone else they can lift the back up for you.
  3. Or just pull in at any bike shop you see and ask the guy to come out and lift the rear for you while you spray...works for me!
  4. :WStupid:
  5. Look no further. Here is your answer:

Set about a major chain clean in Tassy with my patent pending rock and spanner paddock stand... tie off the front brake though.

  6. thats a cunning stunt!
