Chain and Sprockets what to buy

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by TGM, Aug 23, 2011.

  1. So I'm looking to buy a new chain and sprockets for my 1989 ZXR250-A soon.

Where should I buy them from? Should I just go to bikemart, a kawa dealer, or is there a cheaper source on the internet?

Also, I know I should look out for genuine brands but if Kawasaki don't make parts for my bike any more is there an alternative? Or is there an alternative that's the same quality but cheaper?

  2. JT sprockets seem to be recomended by a few shops. Buy an O-ring chain not a standard one. Quality is usually price related. I like RK and DID personally.
  3. Supersprox lifetime guarantee if it wears out you get a free replacement
