Man im exited... Just got me a job working with Draggin Jeans in customer service/PR ect... So i'll probably see you at the draggin stall at the GP, supers and expo's. And hey, its Mon-fri, 8.30 to 5.30, so i'm no longer a stay at home bum. you wont be seeing as much of me on here, but i'll post often still. Hope youse dont miss me!

Draggin Jeans - Cover youre arse (im comercialised already!)
  2. congrats, is that their office in South Melbourne?
  3. Hey good news.
Mates Rates on all Draggin products for netriders that mention your name when purchasing said products?
  4. Grats on the job.
It is a win all round...
Working in an Aussie brand in the industry that matches your hobbies...

Doesn't get much better than that...
  5. You guys know i'll do my best to look after you... They might give netriders discouts anyway, but not sure. yes, it is their sth melb office.
The pay is entry level, so i'll see how i go. I hope im not stuck behind a computer all day, but i cant hope for much of a better job. I've scored some cargo's and a shirt already for tomorrows start, so happy so far. I'll let you know how the first day goes, but for now im going to go out for a beer later today...
  6. Congratulations! :)
  7. nice work. (excuse the pun)
If you're at the GP this year will have to give you a sale or two
  8. When do you start... their office is about 3 minutes walk from my work

  9. I start tomorrow... you lucky bastard, im an hour and a half by cattle train until my arm heals enough to ride the pushie from bundoora. we'll have to go for beers after work for sure!!!
  10. Congrats mate, hmmmm customer service PR hey? Well my draggins have worn a hole in the arse and I've only had them 15 months! OK I have worn them everyday for about 2-3 hours on the bike LOL
  11. Easting super hot chilli curries is not covered by warranty, unless you go for the optional heatproof shpincter shroud cover...
  12. Congratz champ!

We will see how much you love it after 6months lol!.

Im sure you still will though!

If there are any draggins that "fall off the back of the truck" let me know
  13. Draggins seem to be quite good with after sales service. I've dealt with Ben Kelly recently after my girl's pants ripped along a seem. He's been very helpful although there has been a long delay in replacing them due to lack of stock. But I guess those kinds of things can't be helped.
I imagine given this context, your job will be an easy and cheerful one with the customers needs at heart.

My only gripe is the price. Cordura pants are much cheaper and actually offer better protection so the only thing going for Draggins is convenience and fashion. Which in my mind isn't enough to convince me to fork out $240 for another pair. Considering a middle of the road pair of designer jeans sells for $100-120, I find it hard to believe that there is a further $120 of kevlar in the pant.
I.E. a pair of fire retardant Kevlar gloves can be had for $10-15. Given the loss from off cuts, there would be enough Kelvar in 2 pairs to make a pair of Draggins.
  14. Congrat's nice2Bnaked!!!!

*rubs him for good luck* ;)
  15. Well they DO give a 10% discount to MRAA members, you ought to see about getting the same deal for Netriders :)
  16. Cool, how much are they? :?
  17. Don't do that....he'll get used to it  and who know where he's been  j/k
  18. definately...not this week though...working late.
  19. They would have to be a BIG pair of gloves...
  20. Those Draggins were designed to have a hole. ( ventilation )
