CBR250RR Leaking Fuel Tap, worn rubber. Replacement part?

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by DegsCult, Mar 5, 2008.

  1. Hi, I have a CBR250RR 1991. When i bought it and took the tank off to have a look around, i noticed the fuel tap was leaking quite abit when it was turned off.

I unscrewed the fuel tap lever and realised the rubber inside had completely worn. as a temporary solution I cut a piece of rubber from a door stopper, drilled out 4 holes and fit it in there. It works pretty good, but its a bit stiff and I figured it wont last very long.
I'm wondering where/if i can buy the rubber part without buying a whole fuel tap?

    Any suggestion? Thanks
