CB400 oil leaking from overflow tube...

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by The Dude, Dec 17, 2012.

  1. Very much a newb so apologies for my lack of basic knowledge, but have searched similar posts on same topic but most refer to overfilling the oil.

I have NOT just added oil (level is fine) but this morning after a long run to work, my CB400 (purchased a month ago) has leaked a good 2-3 tablespoons of oil out of the rubber overflow pipe just behind the rear brake pedal.

Should I keep riding for a few days to see if it's just a temporary overflow? Or have I most likely blown a seal and need to get onto it ASAP?

    All advice much appreciated...
