CB 125e Cafe Racer

Discussion in 'Welcome Lounge' started by muzdog, May 20, 2016.

  1. Hi all, started a Café Racer project with a little Honda CB 125e. I want to remove the air box and run a pod type filter. On the airbox there is a tube that goes to a "Vacuum diaphragm?" which in turn has a tube going into the head. I don't Know its function?. Any one have any ideas on how to ditch the airbox for a pod filter?

  2. On a 125e....really?

That would be the crankcase ventilation return where oil fumes get reburnt through the engine. You could technically vent it straight out but that would be bad and kill kittens in their sleep which may not pass rwc.
Ideally you want to buy a oil catchcan.to hook onto the hose.
  3. gday muzdogmuzdog welcome to NR! best of luck with the project.
  4. G'day muzdogmuzdog ,
Welcome to NR forum. For all things bike related - technical, and just plain silly.

Good luck with your project :)
