Carrying stuff on a bike

Discussion in 'Jokes and Humour' at netrider.net.au started by Alguien, Nov 28, 2005.

  1. For a while now I've been reading all the forum topics on tank bags, panniers etc wondering how I might carry stuff around when I need to.

Heres one guy whos an inspiration...

  2. no thats a scene from the new movie..
    "When Doonas Attack!!"

he needs one of those vacuum bags you see advertised.
  3. Nah, that's just one of those new airbag-equipped Hondas.
  4. but hes notin an accident....

or is he just prepared for the one that he's waiting for??
  5. I'm going to assume the main motivation for the thread is to show that hoot of a pic, thanks mate.

To provide a serious answer, I have this on the bike at all times.

It's holds my wet-weather pants and gloves, my lock, ear-plugs, my plastic puck for soft ground under the stand, and still has room for other stuff. Wouldn't be without it.....
  6. Aha, equipped like a bloated capitalist hyena I see Hornet. What’s wrong with a crushed coke can like the proletariat use?
  7. ....errr, I don't drink Coke??
  8. He hit a moth  .
  9. Yeah this thread was to shows you all that pic.

But on a more serious note, is that link you sent me to for a bag on the back of the bike?

I've been looking at these and was wondering if theres any particular style that are better/worse for a VTR250?

Edit: I dont have a rack on the bike so was was looking for something that doesnt need one...
  10. lol, looks like a giant airbag went off!! :)
  11. Sorry, buddy, the bag is a Ventura and requires a Ventura rack
