Carbon fibre look seat upholstering

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by sirroger, Sep 22, 2007.

  1. Got a bit of a theme happening with my VFR, so far carbon fibre look tank protector, fuel cap cover and yoke protector... My seat needs reupholstering and i'm wondering if anyone knows (or knows someone who knows) about carbon fibre look vinyl suitable to cover a bike seat?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  2. Yes carbon fibre look upholstery material is available.
Ask any decent trimmer to find out about it, or they may already use it.
Nolan warehouses, Daley's or Bainbridge International will have it, I just can't remember which one.
*edit* Clark Rubber is just a good place to get blank stares and reamed on prices.

    Regards, Andrew.
  3. Well if you are in the Ipswich area, I'd go to Booval Upholstery and get exactly what I wanted :p But I can only generalise, because Sir Roger doesn't have a location!!!

Good luck, post some photos when you've done it!
  4. Ipswitch is a bit of a hike for me.... i'm in Sydney

  5. Then add it in your profile
