Can anyone weld? inner S/E Melb? pay it forward?

  1. G'day Guys.

    I need just a really quick favor from someone who can weld.

    The kickstarter on my ktm 300 exc is a bit worn down. the "nub" has worn back so that the footpeg ends up facing a bit too far down when kicked and causes my foot to slip off a fair bit. It also just took a chunk out of my 3ride old boots :evil:

    I was wondering if someone with welding gear/skill could quickly build up the nub again so it would sit correctly. should be a pretty easy job for someone who knows their stuff. Kickstarters can only be bought whole new and are $205..or i hunt around for a 2nd hand one or make one fit from another bike.

    I have beer, can come to you and recently did some good m/c karma by cutting up and mailing some spare chain links to another rider in need.
