Camera on Wellington Road (Vic)

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by MLC, Jul 14, 2006.

  1. Saw this on the way down Wellington Road tonight. Don't know for sure what they were up to but there is a camera in the window, a dude using a laptop in the back and talking to the guy you can see standing at the rear door. A little portable generator sitting on the nature strip.

  2. since there was a laptop i'd venture a guess that it may have been some sort of number plate/rego recognition system.

cops have been using them to detect drivers of unregistered vehicles.

these guys may have been running some tests.
  3. Calls the cops or national security hotline on 1800 123 400 and tell them you suspect terrorist activity. Say they are taking photo's of some large infrastructure.
  4. :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

    Pisssaaaaahhhhhh

That'd work ... they sure looked like they were "acting suspiciously" .. with generator and cables and hiding behind a tree etc etc :-w
  5. Nick off!!! Thats only a couple of streets away from my place
  6. Yeah, we'll there definantly used to calls for suspected terrorist activity occurring at your house. :p
  7. No, it's usually just fire trucks coming by cause someone has reported a fire on the roof
