Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' at netrider.net.au started by dgmeister, Jul 6, 2012.

  1. with the tin-can style oil filters,
can you buy these at supercheap or do you need to pay for OEM parts at the dealership???

  2. Supercheap.

Google and make sure you get the correct part number.

  6. Stupidcheap are usually dearer than your local MC shop. In my experience anyway.

  8. Why ??? I have used them for years in my bikes. They are stainless and cleanable.
My dirt bikes get an hour or two out of the oil .
My track bikes maybe an hour and a half, two maybe if I am lazy.
Luv to know your reasons why

  9. mostly just personal opinion, and convenience :)

I prefer to spend $10 and have a new one, and know that its perfect and clean, rather than spend xx mins pulling one apart and cleaning it :)

Same goes for air filters.... but thats just me! :)
