Buying My First Bike

  1. Hi,



    Im looking at getting a second hand bike from a dealer tomorrow.
    A Kawasaki GPX250 2006 model.
    Its got 17,000 on the clock and priced at $3500.
    Im so buzzed to get my new bike and can't wait.

  6. I bought a 2005 3 months ago with 40k on it for $2500. So if it's in VG condition, a year younger and with only 17k it sounds ok to me. I'm at the point now where I'm screwing the ring out of it but it's serving it's purpose well and part from a starter motor fix, hasn't let me down. The front springs need to be higher rated, probably around .7 it dives under heavy braking but I won't bother as I'm not intending to keep it much longer.
    Good 1st bike I'm sure you will enjoy it. I have a copy of the full workshop manual, if you want a copy pm me.
