Buying from Japan - can anyone help?

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by davway, Dec 14, 2008.

  1. Anyone here read/speak Japanese that could possibly help me buy some parts from Japan through Yahoo Japan Auctions (or similar)?
Parts are extinct in Australia for my bike (84 GS250FW) but it seems there is an unlimited supply in Japan.
Parts would likely be a master cylinder, some mirrors etc and general parts like that.
nothing too expensive or hard to send.
I would like to keep the bike in original condition so parts made to fit from other models arent going to cut it.
just as an example of the kind of parts im looking at:
im also aware that the page is old and none of those items are still there, its just for an example.
so, if anyone could help me out, id appreciate it immensly.

  2. Genki desu Ka, Ganbatte ne.
  3. use the babelfish translation through yahoo - works quite well
  4. You'll have a hard time finding anyone that exports.

If you get stuck, google Vanem and speak to Adrian there. Also, Rinkya seems quite popular but I've never used it.
