QLD Brisbane CBD - Steel Plates

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' started by Spotman, Sep 3, 2015.

  1. Not sure why but over the past week or three the council or developers have been digging up large sections of road down Edward St in the city. (may be other roads too) In their wisdom they have then covered these up with massive steel plates that are maybe 2x4m in size. They basically take up an entire lane and there is at least three of these beasts now.
Not a huge issue on a dry sunny day etc. etc. However I wouldn't want to brake heavily or set up for a turn on one of these on a wet day. There are also much harder to see when wet.
I noticed this morning that now they are also gathering some loose gravel which is nice...
    Just a heads up.
