  1. Check out this style of bike being done in Japan. The company and style is called Bratstyle. They take cheap bikes - SR500, XS650 etc (pretty much bikes with old fashioned tube frames) and, as I heard it put somewhere, create a bit of cafe racer with lots of street tracker thrown in.

  4. A very popular look in the UK from way back when too. If you can lay hands on some early copies (1983/4/5) of Back Street Heroes magazine you'll find any number of bikes given similar treatment. That was back in the days when old Brit twins were still cheap and common enough to do interesting things with.
