Brake handle lube

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by pringa8, Nov 5, 2009.

  1. Lever's getting a bit creaky, not sure whether to use an oil based lubricant or graphite powder?

  2. Tiny dab of graphite grease on the pin will do the trick. Might be time to change the fluid too.
  3. Graphite grease! Haven't heard of that before but that sounds exactly what I need! Fluids are all good, its definitely just the lever. Cheers.
  4. Inox at the pivot and down the cable. Cable lubricators cost about $10-15.
  5. had a fly stuck behind my clutch switch once that caused a sqeek.. there you go.
yeah graphite grease or white lube.
