VIC Borrow - Oil filter wrench

  1. I guess the last guy to change the oil on my bike was Popeye, that filter isn't coming off from anything I can do. Anyone have a filter wrench I can borrow for a day in the Melbourne area, specifically St Kilda?

  2. As an alternative its a bit messy but simply punch a long bladed screw driver right thru the filter and use the screwdriver to lever it off.

  3. Why not buy one there cheap anyway. Thats what i do when i haven't got the right tool. Sounds like you would use it again anyway.

  4. theyre like $7 at supercheap. if youre having problems getting it off, chances are its going to be hard to come off second time round as well

  5. having just changed the oil on my bike recently, i had to resort to this to get it going:
