[Boots] TCX Infinity

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by junglist, Apr 24, 2009.

  1. Just grabbed some TCX (formerly oxtar) Infinity boots today and they are bloody awesome. Still a bit stiff, but I've been wearing them around the office all day to loosen up the leather a tad.

Construction is top notch and they are super comfy.

They are one of the few touring boots that have an adjustable buckle on the ankle for tightness. (BMW Santiago was another one that is similar, but got not-as-good reviews for water-resistance and was $50 more expensive) Most tourers just have a zip+velcro and all boots that would fit my size 13 flippers ended up being cavernous about the ankle. The Infinities can be tightened considerably, providing support, stability, and resistance to unwanted ankle movement in the case of an off.
