BMW R nineT

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' at netrider.net.au started by dnardy, Oct 17, 2013.

  1. I'll just leave this here:

    From BikeEXIF:
"BMW Motorrad has just revealed the new R nineT.

It's a 1170 cc boxer with 110 bhp, 120 Nm of torque, cross-spoke wheel rims and round instruments. The tail section can be easily modified, giving three different motorcycle variants."

My opinion: They've come pretty close to nailing the mix of modern and retro, will have to see one in real-life. Other manufacturers are going to jump on this bandwagon (more modern but still classiclally styled cafe racer) and I think that's a good thing.

  2. Opinion - the R1200R is still the better looking bike.

But F800GS or R1200GS and a R nine T in the carport, best of all worlds? I might need to negotiate with the chief financial officer (wife).
