Blown Spada shock

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by aimre, Apr 1, 2009.

  1. the other day, a friend decided to pillion me on his spada = a combined weight of 180 kg. the ride progressively got more bouncy and oil started leaking out of the rear shock.

what should i do? take it to get rebuilt, go to wreckers and find a new one, or is there any other shock that fits a spada, or might anyone be wrecking a spada.

  2. You can get them rebuilt. I seem to recall someone in Qld rebuilds them but I can't find the info at the moment - but you are better off going to a wreckers.
  3. Why is it your problem if its your mate's bike?
  4. because some people like to help there friends
