A new 600 Hornet getting a bit of stick on a dyno (although subjectively I still don't think he has it 'tapped out', what do you think???)
  2. Wicked!!!
  3. Is that all hes got :?:
    :p :p

I remember one doing better than that up the Refton a year or so back.

  4. sounds like sex!
  5. Far out I like that hornet... With every day that passes the more I think about my first bike, the more I like hornets, I have to have one NOW!
  6. Well I was leaving some scope for some experts with dyno experience, but I think the bike is only revved round to about 9,000 revs or so, by the sound. I've heard mine sounding much like that, notabley on Reefton last year, as Dave kindly reminded. But the Hornet 600 engine is RED-LINED higher than that, with a bit to go in the red zone as well.

Never mind, it's a nice little clip.... which makes me wonder now, what would my bike sound like with one of these ? http://www.staintune.com.au/exhausts/honda/Honda 600 Hornet.htm
  7. very very nice
  8. At the end (about the 1.36min mark) he winds it on in first and hits the rev limiter cause you can hear that quick shudder. Then rolls it on in each gear :)
  9. oooh yeah baby!!
    me likes!!!!
  10. yeah, that's all it's got.
You could hear it valve bouncing on the first gear change near the end of the video.

Don't know what doing all that gear changing is going to achieve on a dyno.
