  1. Hi All...

Here's my first bike... and i have to say, i am really enjoying the ride.

Its a 2000 Model, Originally bought in Lilydale by a lady owner as a first bike, and the previous owner had the bike for 7 Years. In this time it has only done 11700kms. So its fair to say she's a pup!

Took off the OEM tyres and replaced them with a set of Michelen Pilot Powers with a slightly wider rear, 150/60/17r.

Also scored a neat megacycle muffler with a removable baffle. Makes the bike sounds great!

Hopefully tomorrow, my Rear Hugger shows up...

Looking forward to meeting a few of you at some of the more regular rides.

Sing out if you're a VTR owner... would love to pick your brains about the bikes :)

Future mods..... twin headlamp, and a Tacho Cluster or progressive shift light

  2. How the hell do you ride a bike if you're blind? :p
    Very nice indeed dude.
  3. come down to a satdy learners session,
and i also own a vtr, absolutely love it. interested to see what a rear hugger looks like on them in person.
  4. Awesome looking bike - Congrat's! :D
  5. I've got a vtr250 too.... love it to bits... where did you get the hugger??
Really don't know if I'll spend cash on mine or save it for street-fightering a firestorm..
  6. bought from Replico Fairings in SA

  7. hugger is now on the bike...
great work, and super easy to fit on.
i'll get some pics a little later on.
  8. Thats a great first bike.

    Well done.
  9. Nice bike. It'll look the business with a hugger and twin lights.
  10. beaut bike mate & wise move to swap out the rubber.
  11. Nice.... might have to look at a hugger for mine. Sick of cleaning off all the crap flicked up by the tyre. Every time I ride on a dirt road recently, it seems to be wet and mud goes friggin everywhere.
  12. Had a day off so i decided to tackle the tail tidy on my bike...

    here's the results.
