Bimoto - Dainese store - [Belgium]

  1. Hi guys,

    For all your dainese needs, I highly recommend the guys at Bimoto. http://bimoto.be/dainese_store/ I know some people dont like shipping from online stores as well, but they also have a store front in Belgium - how ever I cannot 100% confirm they the store front exists without going to Belgium.

    I've purchases gear from theses guy at the start of the year, and I'm currently looking at buy some new gear from them for summer.

    Available stock: They have access to all gear on the official Dainese website, even if it is not on the Bimoto website itself. If you cant see the item you like on the Bimoto website, shoot them an email and they will get back to you and let you know whether they have it in stock, or if they can order it directly from the factory.

    Service: When you ask for quotes, they actually ask you additional questions about your size to ensure that you are purchasing the right size. If the item is not in stock, they actually go keep you updated when they arrive with follow up emails

    Prices: Cheaper than america, even now. If your impatient and want to know the prices in aussie dollar, this is what you do :

    1. Get the price from the offical Dainese website in Euros http://www.dainese.com/wd_en/motorbike
    2. Get the price in step 1 and divide by 1.21 (this is so you get the price minus the VAT, which the the euro equivalent to GST)
    3. Get the amount from step 2 and divide by the Euro-AUD exchange rate - usually around 0.68-0.7 or use http://www.xe.com/ucc/

    (note: these are an estimate only and may be out by a few dollars. For exact quotes, email them directly.)

    Shipping: Reasonablly price. Last time i ordered my winter gear, the goods arrived after 1 week.

    Eg: I recently got a quote for the Delta pro perforated leather pants:
    300 Euro + 40 Euro (shipping) = $340 euro ==> approx $480 AUD
    from dainese website:
    Peter stevens: $750 AUD
    sportsbike track gear/kneedraggers: $499 USD + shipping (these are some of the more popular US based sites)

    Thought I'd share a good retailer for you all. Also, whenever you are purchasing your gear online, where you can, you should go to an actually store such as PS and try on the gear yourself before purchasing.

    disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this retailer. However, I will be happy to accept any savings you receive as a result of any purchases
