There seem to be a lot of threads appearing with regards to the government getting into our lives where we dont want them, due to the ever present "Terrorist" threat. Phone taps, CCTV, etc. A minority seem to agree with these government measures, the rest would rather see the money spent more wisely. Australia is one of the only western countries without a Bill of Rights or equivelant. Do we need a Bill of Rights? Will our civil liberties keep on being curbed by the government one step at a time, without one? The American constitution/BoR was thrown out the window even before the "war on terror"; Do you believe the same would happen if we had a Bill of Tights?
