Biker Down (picton area)

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by Razeor, Sep 1, 2006.

  1. Hi Guys,

Today on the way home from work I unfortunately drive past the scene of a bike accident South of Sydney (Picton area). I think I saw the rider lying on the side of the road with a jacket covering his head so I assume he had passed. It looked like the car had pulled out in front of him on a 100km stretch of road.

There were people everywhere so I didn't stop.

I would just like to send my condolences to the rider’s friends and family, who ever they are.

Can anyone confirm if the rider did pass?
  2. im not sure, i didnt hear anything about it on the radio on the way home tonight, but i know those areas down there and along appin road are notorious for blind spots.
  3. it was on the intersection of picton rd and the hume hwy on-ramp heading towards sydney.
  4. Well until we know something, razeor, we know nothing, so let's leave it at that, eh?
  5. Any words yet on the downed rider? :?:
  6. It wasn't in Ringwood was it?
we are still trying to find the dead rider there.
