Bike Storage Over Winter

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by avanti_rider, Jun 13, 2009.

  1. Hi Guys,
Just wondering what you guys and girls do when storing your bike over winter (bike wont be ridden for 3 months). In my Honda manual it says remove all the fuel and drop a small amount of engine oil in the cylinder to stop it rusting/seizing. In particular im wondering what you do in regards to the fork stantions (crome) to stop surface rusting on them.
    Any Tips/Adivice is appreciated!

  2. Champion! Thanks mate. It's hard to know which sites to trust!
  3. combine them Im sure a few suggest teh same things. theres not definate way to store your bike. all people do it differently
  4. Why wouldn't you ride it over winter? The ballarat snow melts...
