Big Big problem

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by ilovemynsr150sp, Nov 24, 2008.

  1. Hi guys, i have a big problem on my hands. I have discovered that i have a hole in my engine cover. its exactly under the oil seal where the mainshaft is- the one that the front sprocket goes on. It leaks oil so i have to get it fixed :( i have made a pic of it. Could you guys tell me what i should do next or how i could get it fixed.

    Thanks, Stef :)
  2. (1) Replace the cover
    (2) Have it welded & re-machined
    (3) Use one of those alloy epoxies ( liquid metal )
  3. Hey, thanks for the reply mate. I was thinkning of using the JB weld product on plug the hole up. I just wanna make sure i dont get any debris into my gearbox... Has anyone used this stuff bfor? thanks :)
