Becoming a Motorcycle Instructor (WA)

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by jigme, Apr 9, 2007.

  1. Hi Netriders
I've been riding for about one year now and it has solidly sunk into my blood and become a way of life for me like very little else I've known. I'm sure most of you can relate!

I'm 26 and like most of you can probably also relate, would like a job that I enjoy and get satisfaction out of and I've set my a long term goal to become a motorcycle instructor.

I would expect a rider to have at least 5 years riding experience ontop of all manner of adv. rider training under their belt plus a crystal clear riding record are all musts before any further consideration.

My question: What is involved in the process of getting your Motorcycle Instructor papers and what advice do you have for planning for this?

    Thanks muchos in advance!
  2. Simple.

Contact the RTA in your state to do the Instructor course that'll provide you with the required
    Commercial Driving Instructors License.
