Battery Problem

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' at netrider.net.au started by ilovemynsr150sp, May 25, 2008.

  1. G'day guys,
i have a small problem with my battery, since my lil drop i have filled the battery up as it was very much beyond the lower level mark, now i have not overfilled it but after i went for a ride the battery started "cooking" and leaked. what could be the reason for this? kind regards, stef

  2. You topped it up with uncharged fluid. As it charges it can get hot and expand. Wash off the excess and see if it does it again next time, or if the excess is now gone and it's ok.

If it does it again it could be a dud battery, fried regulator/rectifier, or bad connection/short.

  4. Acid

What did you fill the battery with?
