With oil or diesel, your front loses necessary traction.
I think it's...80% of body weight on the front wheel + smooth heavily worn-out rear tire + plenty of water on smooth bitumen + good front braking + crazy pedalling.
When I used to live in Scotland we would do this on ice and snow as kids. You don't need to brake because the front wheel ain't going anywhere without drive all you have to do is steer into the slide. Dunno how they did it in this video though, but there is definately something on the road like sand as previously suggested.
